Terms of service

Last updated: 31 August 2026

These terms cover your use of this website. They do not cover the Magery Forge scanning service, which is not yet available; when it launches it will have its own terms, and you will be asked to accept them then.

Using this site

You may read these pages, share links to them and quote them with attribution. Please do not try to break the site, reach for anything it is not offering, or scrape it in a way that degrades it for other visitors. The site is provided as it is, free of charge, and reading it creates no contract with us. Accounts exist, and this site now offers to create one; what an account holds is described in the privacy policy.

Availability of the product

The product is in beta. Forge also exposes an MCP server — not yet routed publicly — authenticated with the same access key as the API. The API is available to account holders who issue an access key. You cannot buy a plan yet: billing arrives once the beta ends. Accounts are the exception, and no longer only on our server: you can create one, sign in and sign out from these pages, and the controls that lead there — "Start free", "Sign up" and "Try Forge" — are real and do what they say. Prices, plan limits and features described here are our current intent, not a commitment, and may change before launch.

Content and branding

The text, layout, illustrations and code of this site, along with the Magery and Magery Forge names and logo, belong to their owner and are not licensed to you by your visiting the page. Quoting a passage with a link back is fine. Reusing the branding, or republishing the site as your own, is not. Third-party names mentioned on these pages belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We take care to keep it accurate, but we do not promise that it is complete, current or uninterrupted, and descriptions of an unreleased product can turn out differently. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing here is security advice for your own systems. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of this site is established, and any dispute is subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. If you need to know which jurisdiction that is before relying on anything here, write to [email protected] and we will tell you. This does not affect consumer protections that are mandatory where you live.

Contact

Questions about these terms go to [email protected]. That address is the only channel we operate for this site; there is no support portal yet, because there is not yet a product to support.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the site and the product develop. Every new version is published on this page with a new date at the top, and takes effect when it is published. There is no mailing list and we do not write to you about changes, so checking this page is how you see the current version. Sign-up opening prompted this version; the next substantive rewrite is expected when scanning does.
